Ashley Park House Wedding

One of my favourite venues not just in Tipperary but nation wide, has to be Ashley Park House. Situated just outside Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

It has park land, wooded areas, walled gardens and most importantly located on the shores of Lough Ourna. This is a great location at any time of day!

So whatever type of photos you like, this venue has it all!

Wedding at Dromoland Castle

Wedding Photography

Dromoland Castle Hotel, Co. Clare

I had been looking forward to this wedding for a few months, such a beautiful setting in Co. Clare.  The magnificent walled gardens, the grounds surrounding the hotel and the lake!

What more could you ask for on a wedding day??

But then Storm Lorenzo decided to visit!  We had to do a little rethink on the photo locations.  Sometimes, the bad weather can be a blessing.  As you are forced out of your comfort zone and to get a little creative!

This is the result, I loved the lamp stands at the top of the stair case.  So I wanted to try an include them in a shot.  This is an exposure of 1/6 sec, to allow as much light into the image as possible.  I had my trusted assistant for the day (groomsman John, thank you!!) to the right of Laura and Eoin, with a large soft box.

Hope you enjoy the image!

Colin
